Responsibilities and Duties

Primarily responsible is to ensure that software is meeting or exceeding performance standards.

Designing and implementing automated performance tests.

Analyzing data to identify performance issues.

Authoring or consulting on software changes to improve performance.

Similarly work in other non-functional areas such as scaling and resiliency

 

Minimum Qualifications

· At least 6 years of experience as software developer

· Experience working in high performance applications or services.

· An interest in optimizing and evaluating software from a non-functional point of view.

· Experience writing automated tests and measuring performance of software.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

· Knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) and processes.

· Able to execute within a distributed software development team.

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in Python, Typescript, JavaScript or other programming language.

· Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

· Experience with AWS cloud solutions.

· Experience with automated test tools.

· Experience with data analytics and monitoring systems.

· In-depth knowledge of Linux, Windows, or
