About the Team:

The Field Operations Lead sits within the US Medical Next Gen Immunology organization, part of the broader Medical North America Specialty Care team. The Medical organization partners closely with Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access functions to advance therapeutic solutions that address unmet patient needs. The Next Gen Immunology team supports Sanofi’s commitment to pursuing scientific innovation to improve patients’ lives.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the US Medical Operations Director, Next Gen Immunology, the Field Operations Lead is responsible for developing and managing operational excellence across the Medical Affairs field teams. This role oversees key strategic projects, enhances operational processes, drives the adoption of advanced analytics and AI tools, and ensures the effective functioning of field-based medical teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations & Project Management

  • Develop standardized operational tools and templates to track project health, timelines, budget adherence, risks, and issues.

  • Embed project management tools supporting priority medical strategic initiatives.

  • Ensure consistent monitoring, quality assurance, and reporting of project deliverables, providing insights and presentations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Data, Analytics & AI Enablement

  • Lead the implementation of AI/LLM-enabled tools to improve workflows, efficiency, and decision-making across the medical organization.

  • Manage data analytics dashboards and reports to generate actionable insights.

  • Assess and improve dashboard functionality to ensure optimal usability and business value.

  • Conduct proactive data validation and ensure accurate KPI reporting for Medical leadership.

Operational Planning

  • Develop the annual strategic operations plan, assessing team capacity, identifying operational gaps, and recommending new systems or processes to optimize planning and execution.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and introduce innovative operational solutions.

Field Medical Support

  • Lead HCP FMV and contracting processes, ensuring timely execution and compliance.

  • Support medical strategic/tactical planning, congress planning, and operational execution.

  • Oversee fleet management processes and other operational needs for field-based medical teams.

About You

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ Experience in Medical or Commercial operations (launch execution, reporting, project management) or healthcare equivalent. Consulting experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI tools/LLMs to enhance operational performance.

  • High level of business acumen and analytical capability; able to translate data into insights.

  • Experience with Veeva/CRM systems and Power BI is required.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker who can challenge status quo while maintaining practical execution focus.

The salary range for this position is:

$148,500.00 - $214,500.00
