We’re growing and looking to add a Senior Web Developer to our website and marketing team.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and PHP to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in developing custom WordPress themes, experience with complex ACF setups, and an understanding of PHP 8.0+. In addition to web development, this role requires experience in SEO best practices and the ability to integrate account-based marketing (ABM) tools and manage data flows between the website and MarTech platforms, such as Marketo, Optimizely, and Segment.io.

The successful candidate will collaborate with designers to implement Figma designs into high-quality, responsive web pages and work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the website for performance and user experience. The ability to think critically, solve problems, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST time zone across Canada (excluding Quebec)

Performance Objectives:

Primary Objective:
To develop, maintain, and optimize the company's WordPress-based website, ensuring high performance, SEO best practices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Performance Objectives:

  • Build and maintain custom WordPress themes and templates that align with design specifications and company goals.
  • Implement complex ACF setups and manage integrations that enhance website functionality.
  • Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, page load speed, and responsive design across all devices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex ACF setups and integrate custom plugins.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme creation and advanced template management.
  • Strong PHP skills, with experience in PHP 8.0+ preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and technical SEO implementation.
  • Marketing Technology (MarTech) Integration: Proficiency in managing data flow between the website and marketing tools like Marketo, Optimizely, and Segment.io, ensuring accurate and efficient data transfer for marketing automation, analytics, and personalization.
  • Experience with ABM Tools: Ability to set up, configure, and integrate account-based marketing tools to support data-driven marketing and sales strategies.
  • Bonus: Experience with AWS, Webpack, React, Docker / Lando for local development, familiarity with leveraging APIs and CRM databases to manage customer lead flows.
