Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and implementation of software engineering and DevOps frameworks, tools and practices within IT Infrastructure and broader ADI.
• Be the primary partner between IT and software engineering BU, defining and implementing standards for software development within Analog Devices.
• Provide leadership to junior developers, oversee software development projects within IT Infrastructure including self service tools.
• Oversee support of Software Development Tools – GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as a service, Containerization, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker.
• Automate and develop using Python, Django, Terraform, React, SQL for both on-prem and in cloud.
• Critical thinking skills, along with design thinking skills (human centric/experience focused design)
• A great communicator, influencer and a DevOps practitioner
• Can demonstrate success in identifying opportunities, building solutions and creating business values.
• Solid background in the entire SDLC process, understand the industry best practices.
• Background in semiconductor industry is helpful but not necessary

Required skills and experience.

• 10 years' experience in software engineering roles with increasing responsibility and leadership.
• Experience leading teams to invent, improve, evolve and/or deprecate software, drives resolution of architectural deficiencies, and finds a path forward in difficult situations
• Demonstrated experience in the establishment and streamlining of development practices to ensure the highest quality of software and operational excellence. Includes implementing DevOps practices and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with software engineering technologies such as python, C++ or JAVA, React, Django, SQL.
• Experience implementing modern software engineering and DevOps practices including Agile, CI/CD pipelines, micro services architecture, serverless cloud architecture, etc.
• Solid understanding and capability with cloud infrastructure in either AWS or Azure and cloud automation with Terraform.
• Be very technical in nature, hands on in the code when needed.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
