Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while applying your expertise in quality processes and methodologies to enhance the testing lifecycle. You will focus on developing comprehensive testing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the application development process. Your role will also include monitoring key metrics to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Contribute to migration activities from legacy lending platforms to CLS – validation of solutions in CLS core product and peripheral systems as applicable - Collaborate with SMEs & BAs to test mapping rules and logic for migration - Test the migration loading to CLS in a controlled environment to refine the process of executing all defined activities required for the data migration - Support operations teams for data review and enrichments - Define and perform end to end dress rehearsals and production migration - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness during the migration lifecycle - Defect management and reporting Professional & Technical Skills: - The position requires a 6-8 years of relevant software testing experience, with hands-on experience on Commercial Lending Solution (CLS) or ACBS, or any other equivalent platform - Domain & Product knowledge: Structured Finance. Expertise in Commercial Lending domain, with hands-on experience on FIS Commercial Lending Solutions (CLS) or ACBS or any other equivalent platform - Test Management: Proficiency in designing, executing test cases, both manually, and using automated tools, to verify that the software behaves as expected by users. - Data Analysis: Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, data visualization software (e.g. PowerBI) for extracting insights from large datasets. - Data Migration: Hands-on experience on any ETL tool – (Not mandatory) - Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of SDLC - Advanced communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, present findings, and write functional/technical documentation. - Stakeholder’s management: ability to identify, analyze, and manage the expectations and requirements of stakeholders. Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and cooperation. - Agile methodologies: understanding of agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban and related project management tools (JIRA). - Behavior Driven Development (BDD): Hands-on experience of frameworks and practices, with experience using Cucumber/Gherkin, and X-ray tools. - Critical and analytical thinking: capability to analyze complex business problems, prioritize requirements, and propose innovative solutions. - System analysis: proficiency for documenting system requirements and workflows, familiarity with documentation system (e.g. confluence, UML…). - API integration: Understanding of API integration and web services that may be in scope of end-to-end testing with external systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Finastra Fusion Loan IQ. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
