THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for monthly billing and subject matter expert for the Policy Administration team.  Monthly billing includes the generation and printing of all policy billing statements, fee for service bills, and bills for partner license fees.  The Policy Administration duties include new staff member training, assisting as needed with posting cash and related policy adjustments, and the printing of all refund and vendor payments.  
 
THE LOCATION:
This position is located in our Overland Park, KS office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Generate the monthly policy billing statements, fee for service bills, and partner bills
  • Supervise the Policy Administration team including training, coaching, monitoring productivity and evaluating performance
  • Work with the Revenue Cycle Management department to resolve billing discrepancies on customer accounts
  • Generate and reconcile reporting to partners and TPA customers
  • Assist with cash application and problem solving when necessary
  • Print customer refund checks as submitted by the Revenue Cycle Management department and requested by the Policy Administration department
  • Pull and post monthly ACH premium payments
  • Perform monthly AR reconciliations and capitation reports for Partners and SDC TPA
  • Research discrepancies between systems, interacting with third party insurance company and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain procedures and training resources for the Policy Administration department that align with internal and third-party insurance company requirements
  • Perform other duties as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 2-4 years previous applicable experience
