At Anaplan, we are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven, digitally savvy Marketing Manager to join our German Field Marketing team. This role reports into the Senior Director of Field Marketing, EMEA.  It is responsible for driving marketing programs and paid media across Germany in collaboration with our global web, campaign and paid media teams, and locally in alignment with our Go To Market GTM team. You will help plan, “transcreate”, localise and execute marketing campaigns and programs and work cross-team and cross-functionally to ensure visibility and communication to the German team.

If you want to help drive pipeline, accelerate growth, and build a world class digital and field marketing program, that is closely aligned to our sales needs, whilst working with a local, regional and global team, this role is for you. You must be ready to roll-up your sleeves on execution, lean into analytics and be a team player and builder.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • “Transcreate” engaging messaging, content, assets and digital marketing efforts so that they resonate and drive outcomes in the German language where translation is not enough
  • Plan, execute and measure digital marketing programs that position Anaplan as the leader in planning by driving awareness, pipeline and revenue in our target accounts.
  • You will be working closely with the Global Revenue Marketing team and our global agency, collaborating in a global framework and with your peers across the world.
  • This will include website localisation (including the transition to our new AEM platform) and marketing programs that would incorporate tactics like webinars/virtual events, social marketing, SEO/SEM, syndication, email and email nurture.
  • Managing transcreation, translation and local requirements related to campaigns in close collaboration with your internal got to market stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally to execute and manage activities, including program management, budgeting, content development, translation, scheduling and agency management.
  • Manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously, under the direction of the Senior Director of Field Marketing, ensuring clear and proactive communication, to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
  • Manage lead acquisition, processing, nurturing and follow-up to ensure that leads from volume marketing activities are properly managed.
  • Bring your deep understanding of the German market, culture and competitive landscape to drive proactive recommendations and feedback to agencies and global teams.
  • This role will work closely with the German Field Marketing Manager aligned to strategic events, regional partners and account marketing. It may include assistance on major marketing projects in Germany led by that person, and they may also assist you.

 What Experience You’ll Need:

  • Fluent written and spoken, business level, English and German
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in B2B / SaaS technology markets in a global company with a focus on digital programs
  • Deep understanding on the principles of paid and organic search to guide our global agency on local requirements.
  • Experience in account targeting digital strategies including demand base and content syndication
  • Experience working in a global AEM web environment, including Japanese localisation and transcreation of global website, keeping in mind natural search optimisation
  • Ability to localise global campaigns, including translation of assets, for German market and audience. Provide strategic insight to local market needs during global campaign creation
  • 3+ years experience running paid and organic social marketing
  • The ability to execute email, events, webinar, nurture and syndication programs from start to finish
  • Strong project management skills, creative thinking and analytical ability
  • Excels at cross-group collaboration, locally, regionally and globally.
  • Comfortable with accountability for clear, quantified performance targets
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with high attention to detail.
  • Strong team-player and self-starter who can initiate and drive activities to successful conclusion while maintaining strong cross-functional working relationships, internally and externally
  • Independence and initiative in high profile situations with strong project management, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Experience in advocacy for German in a global company, understanding the impact and need of localisation requirements, balanced with global priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to facilitate global meetings, within a normal working week.
