Join us as a Central Disclosure Lead

• You’ll be responsible for the delivery and integrity of statutory and external reporting as well as leading the simplification and standardisation of the disclosure production process

What you'll do

As Central Disclosure Lead, you’ll be accountable for your team’s performance and the delivery of statutory and external disclosures. This will involve working on simplifying and standardising the disclosure production process and promoting a culture of data and information quality in the team. You’ll also set the control framework and deliverable governance framework aligned to our overall strategy, ensuring adherence to our operating model and process architecture principles.

In addition, you’ll:

• Actively participate in strategic initiatives including support to onshore teams
• Drive a continuous improvement culture in the team
• Support the Risk & Finance Data Transformation programme from a disclosure automation perspective
• Set and manage internal controls
• Establish strong analytical procedures over the disclosures

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for an individual with excellent transferable experience of working in a large multinational financial services environment, preferably in an external reporting team. You’ll have extensive experience leading, motivating, and directing a small team, and ideally have experience of working globally.

To succeed in this role, you’ll also bring:

• Proficiency and a relevant qualification in accounting and accounting standards
• Experience of implementing business process and procedural change in a complex business environment
• Significant experience in financial control and external reporting profiles
• The ability to implement operating model and strategic change
• The ability to drive cultural change and achieve team objectives using an array of methods
