Ops Group Description:

Alliance Bernstein Foreign Exchange (FX) Confirmations acts as the operational bridge between Alliance Bernstein, external brokers, and custodians. The team is tasked with overseeing trades within AB’s proprietary central trade router, ensuring they are processed correctly downstream before settlement. If any issues arise, the confirmations team coordinates solutions with both internal and external parties to resolve them. The team manages trade communications with brokers and clearers, assists in opening and closing accounts, and plays a crucial role in the settlements and reconciliation processes. Additionally, the team manages and oversees administrative account setup functions across all products, including Swift connectivity, client transmissions, and other account maintenance related to custodian and trading setup.

Ops Job Description:

We are seeking a Pune, India based Analyst to join our Foreign Exchange (FX) Trade Support / Account Set-up Team.

Describe the role:

• Manage administrative account setup and maintenance, including onboarding all new accounts, setting up Continued Link Services (CLS) with the client's bank and the CLS services team, SWIFT connectivity, and coordination with custodians and external trading partners.

• Oversee and manage the processing of Foreign Exchange trades within the proprietary central trade router, ensuring accurate and timely downstream processing prior to settlement.

Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

• The Trade Support team services the FX Trading Desk, which directly places order executions for all portfolios across Alliance Bernstein. Daily tasks involve utilizing the FX trade matching platform (GTSS), the Continual Linked Settlement platform (CLS), and the settlement instructions database (ALERT). Other platforms include internal applications such as our trade router (CTR), Longview, Enfusion, and multiple vendor systems like Bloomberg.
   

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Account onboarding and maintenance
• FX Broker Set-up
• Same day trade matching over GTSS platform
• Collaborate with Middle office to ensure accurate entry of trade details.
• Coordinate with brokers to ensure trade settlement.
• Resolve all trade-related exceptions in CTR.
• Ensure proper handling of all settlement issues.
• Resolve claims issued by brokers and custodians.
• Monitor and resolve failed trades.
