Job Summary

The Planning Leader – APAC is responsible for leading the execution of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes across the APAC region. This role enables strong cross‑functional collaboration across the value chain, ensuring efficient, integrated planning while identifying new business and performance improvement opportunities.

Acting as a critical bridge between commercial and operational teams, the role drives improvements in forecast accuracy, service levels, cycle times, and delivery predictability. As the S&OP leader, the position ensures planning is aligned with business objectives, integrates market trends and customer insights, and continuously improves planning maturity through best practices, advanced analytics, and digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & S&OP Leadership

  • Lead end‑to‑end S&OP and S&OE execution across APAC, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans.

  • Balance supply and demand through integrated planning to maximize business performance and profitability.

  • Align planning outputs with business strategy, financial commitments, and operational capabilities.

Demand & Revenue Forecasting

  • Lead the development of high‑quality demand and revenue forecasts using statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and market intelligence.

  • Integrate commercial inputs, customer insights, and market trends into consensus demand plans.

  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy, bias management, and planning reliability.

Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting and planning, with a strong focus on automation and data‑driven decision‑making.

  • Ensure the effective implementation of demand planning software and tools by selecting, integrating, and configuring systems to meet business needs.

  • Promote best practices, standardization, and adoption of advanced planning technologies across the region.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure demand plans align with budgets, inventory strategies, and service level objectives.

  • Develop and execute strategies to resolve planning gaps, address constraints, and seize improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate across functions and departments to ensure seamless integration of planning solutions into broader business processes.

Risk Management & Scenario Planning

  • Lead comprehensive risk assessments using scenario planning and stress testing to anticipate future challenges.

  • Evaluate and deploy advanced technologies and analytics to enhance risk detection, mitigation, and decision‑making.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and manage the planning team, including talent selection, performance management, compensation input, career development, and day‑to‑day operational leadership.

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members, sharing expertise in planning, forecasting, and risk management.

  • Foster a high‑performance culture through hands‑on guidance, feedback, and continuous capability building.

Health & Safety Leadership

  • Create and maintain a safe working environment by actively supporting Health & Safety programs.

  • Ensure identification and management of occupational risks, provision of appropriate training and information, performance reviews, and allocation of sufficient resources to sustain an effective H&S framework.

You’re the Right Fit If You Have

  • Proven success leading S&OP or supply chain planning teams within the MedTech or Healthcare sector.

  • Strong expertise in demand planning, supply chain management, change management, and operational excellence.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt in dynamic, complex business environments.

  • Advanced strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and executive‑level influencing and negotiation skills.

  • High proficiency in data analysis, KPI management, and risk assessment to drive informed, fact‑based decisions.

  • Experience managing diverse, multicultural, and remote teams across regions.

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, or a related field.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
