Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Software Architect to work on our COO Architecture team architecting the Go-to-Market systems. In this role you will report to the Distinguished Architect responsible for Sales, Marketing and Success. You will join a team of architects who take Autodesk through a digital transformation that focuses on transforming our business models by modernizing our GTM systems. You will provide strategic solutions and help define and enable our sales, customer success strategy, go-to-market success and influence the way we operate by identifying and defining a scalable and secure technology stack.

Preference for candidates in the Bay Area or US in Pacific through Eastern time zones. Our teams are based in Bay Area, Bangalore and you will need to flex your schedule to accommodate these time zones.

Responsibilities

  • You will holistically lead solution architecture to create and guide the direction and development of the strategic roadmap to support Sales and Customer Success
  • Defining end-to-end system architecture across third-party systems and internal systems for sales, customer success goals
  • Stay on top of the latest innovations in the Sales, Customer Success domains in areas such as CRM, Data, Data Policy, systems including CRM/CDP/Customer Success Platforms ,composable architectures, generative AI and ML, Salesforce Einstein
  • You will guide technology strategy and stay ahead of trends across a range of sales, customer success technologies. Guide on building a modern cloud-based, event-driven data systems and common data services that scale to meet the needs of our business.
  • Frequent collaboration with multiple partners (Go-to-market, Product Managers, Engineering, Architects) to define future state sales, customer success technical needs, design data integrations, understand enterprise landscape and future technology direction to support sales, customer success and business transformation
  • Determine build versus buy strategies, provide architecture and systems processing guidance ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the enterprise architecture compliance
  • Build data models, conceptual and logical, in collaboration with Data Architects
  • Ability to take a topic of higher complexity and break it into topics that are clear for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Influence end-to-end architecture decisions and direction according to our needs and application of modern technologies and methodologies
  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and governance are all in place

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical areas.
  • 12+ years' experience delivering software with a focus on Sales, Customer Success and CRM domains
  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Experience working with a cross-section of data integrations (APIs, front-end, backend, security, data, service, persistence layers, automated testing)
  • Domain knowledge of marketing, CRM, ERP, customer success and data analytics tools
  • 8+ years experience with customer success / sales systems demonstrating knowledge of Sales Cloud, Success Cloud (Salesforce), business process mapping, customer journey mapping, and multiple processes including digital marketing, customer relationship management
  • Experience as an architect for a large organization in major software domains
  • Experience with compliance and data governance (GDPR, SOX, etc.)

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $159,100 and $257,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
