About this Position 

We’re looking for a software development engineer in test to join our Quality Assurance department. You will be a major contributor to the quality and experience of ProdataKey’s products used by hundreds of thousands of people each day. As a member of the Quality Assurance team you will :

• Be responsible for the creation and execution of automated test suites within our CI/CD pipelines for new and existing features of ProdataKey’s access control products

• Work with a broad range of innovative hardware and software technologies in the physical security industry

• Develop internal tools for use in development and validation of systems and products.

• Define and execute manual test cases for areas not yet automated or not well suited for automation

• Handle customer cases escalated to engineering and interact with support technicians to troubleshoot customer problem

Qualifications

• An associates or higher degree computer science or a related field, pursuing such a degree or equivalent experience.

• 1+ years writing automated tests

• The ability to easily adapt to unfamiliar development environments

• Computer science fundamentals algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis and data structures

• Testing process, test types, test design and testing methodologies

• Experience with front-and and back-end Javascript technologies, including TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js

• A strong command of the English language and the ability to communicate clearly with both fellow engineers and business partners
