As a member of the HRSG Value Stream Materials Team at the GE Vernova, you will actively contribute to supporting the Gas Power GSC Materials department as a Lead Materials Planning and EAC Specialist (HRSG) and demonstrate your initiative.

The Lead Materials Planning and EAC Specialist (HRSG) role is critical for standardizing processes within the materials, procurement, and manufacturing organizations across HRSG Factories. The position focuses on controlling production, project execution inventory, and work-in-progress (WIP), leveraging PMx within the factories and establishing common practices and processes.

Job Description

Your responsibilities

EAC Reporting and Coordination

• Coordinate EAC reporting, handbook preparation, ITO-OTR handovers, and detailed cost analysis.
• Collaborate with HRSG VS Factories and GEV Finance.

SIOP Activities Support

• Support Sales and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities.
• Understand demand and work with HRSG factories' load plans to meet needs.
• Coordinate with GSC SIOP and ITO teams if necessary.
• Standardize tools and reports.

Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate and work with factories and project teams on deliveries in the ITO and OTR stages.
• Collaborate with relevant project and scheduling teams to address issues.

Documentation and Engineering Coordination

• Facilitate and work with HRSG Engineering to enable the delivery of required documentation.
• Coordinate with System Integration Engineers and Factory planning and manufacturing engineering on required delivery dates.

Internal Material Flows

• Work with factories on standardizing internal material flows and their control.
• Focus on daily management, WIP, and project progress updates.

Sourcing and Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with Sourcing and Procurement for material deliveries to the factories.

What you should bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field from an accredited university
• Knowledge and Experience
  • Knowledge of supply chain management disciplines, such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, fulfillment metrics, cost systems, and procedures.
  • experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in an ERP system in a manufacturing environment (SAP (PMx) preferred).
