Job Description

As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of financial operations, analysis, and reporting.  Your role involves assisting with analytical tasks and supporting Finance team members in day-to-day activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run daily report and assist with Excel projects.

• Identify source of unapplied funds, research payment applications and pull invoice copies.

• Research payment type from large clients.

• Organize 1099s received by the Firm.

• Participate in training and development programs to enhance analytical skills.

• Shadow experienced finance professionals to gain practical experience.

• Support finance team members in ad-hoc projects, special assignments, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Rising Junior or Senior, currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting or a related field. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in using Excel.

• Strong analytical thinking skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively team members.

• Self-motivated and possesses a high attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift 25 pounds max.
