The Part-Time Shipper & Delivery Driver ensures the timely, safe, and accurate transportation of goods to and from designated locations. This role is integral to maintaining our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction by adhering to all safety and operational standards.
Guaranteed 2-3 Shifts Per Week Minimum
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Safely operate a cube van to pick up and deliver goods to specified locations
Verify and load outgoing deliveries, ensuring accuracy and secure placement of items
Perform regular inspections of delivery vehicles and report maintenance needs
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper documentation for each trip
Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including inventory management and warehouse organization
Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery updates or issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
Proven ability to safely operate cube vans.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages safely (up to 50 lbs).
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and delivery requirements.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or delivery driving is an asset.
