Job Title:  Lead Software Engineer – Grade 5

        Full Stack Developer(QA heavy) with exposure to Alternative Investments domain.

The Purpose of This Role

The Alternate Investment Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable Alternate Investment business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures (Containers and Serverless). Monitors and maintains the operational stability of services within the Cloud. Able to navigate and mange technical complexities while developing secure and scalable solutions for our customers.

The Value You Deliver

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.

• Minimum 6+ Years Related Technology Experience, financial industry experience a plus.

• Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of development technologies and test automation frameworks Selenium, Karate, JEST, Cucumber Serenity

• Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools and able to implement build & deploy process for test projects

• An aptitude for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using Jest, JUnit, Mockito unit testing framework.

• Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle using Java/J2EE technologies, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON.

• Knowledge of Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web component using Angular framework and bootstrap is a plus.

• Knowledge of batch job scheduling and dependency management using BMC Control-M for distributed systems.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to optimally convey technical concepts.
