Your Impact
You will have overall responsibility for the revenue accounting close cycle and compliance with U.S. GAAP for all contracts with customers globally as well as all other revenue financial reporting requirements for local jurisdictions. The Director, Revenue Accounting will oversee a current team of more than 4 professionals covering the Company’s revenue recognition processes and systems globally, with a focus on 3rd party reseller arrangements, as well as professional services and partnerships.
The role requires experience with complex revenue and commercial models for selling bundled hardware, software and services subscriptions as well as strong team leadership skills, specifically managing and building best-in-class teams, developing strong operating managers and fostering effective cross-functional relationships. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment. Additionally, the Director, Revenue Accounting will partner with non-finance related executives and managers within Sales to build and drive processes that satisfy customer expectations and create trust across Sales, Finance and Operations. Lastly, the Director, Revenue Accounting will partner with information technology and engineering teams to build and/or enhance integrations and processes across multiple systems to streamline and accelerate analytics and improve our control environment.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 170,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 215,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
