Senior BizOps Engineer F/T

Overview
Serves as the production readiness steward for the platform, ensuring seamless delivery and operational excellence through strategic collaboration with development teams to design, build, implement, and support robust technology services.
Role.
• Lead and enhance the full lifecycle of services from design and deployment to operations and continuous improvement.
• Analyze ITSM platform activities and provide feedback to development teams to address operational gaps and improve resiliency.
• Support pre-launch service readiness through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Monitor and maintain live services by tracking availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Drive sustainable scaling through automation and advocate system changes that improve reliability and delivery speed.
• Manage and support CI/CD pipelines for software promotion across environments, ensuring validation and operational gating.
• Champion DevOps automation and best practices across the organization.
• Conduct sustainable incident response and lead blameless postmortems to foster continuous learning and improvement.

About You
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, Project Manager, Software Engineer, IT Engineer, or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: UNIX/Linux; Mainframe; Batch scripting; Splunk; CI/CD; Jenkins; Git; JIRA.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
