JOB PURPOSE
This 4-month maternity cover role focuses on supporting the scientific and technological exploration of flavour from future bio-based ingredients. The role combines biotechnology, flavour science and experimental execution to generate early-stage insights and innovation opportunities.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Support exploration of bio processes (fermentation, enzymatic treatment) to create flavour ingredients
- Design and execute lab and kitchen scale experiments
- Understand and interpret flavour analysis (GC-MS, LC-MS, others), lead and support sensory evaluations
- Develop product prototypes (bouillons, dressings, seasonings)
- Collaborate with internal and external partners
- Maintain documentation in electronic lab notebooks
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and safety standards

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Food Science, Flavour Science, Biotechnology or similar
  • Experience in lab-scale fermentation experimentation and/or biotechnology-driven ingredient development
  • Knowledge of flavour analysis techniques and sensory science
  • Hands-on and structured scientific mindset
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
