Job Description:

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Export Analyst to join our team in MX-JAL-Zapopan, Mexico (Guad Warehouse). You will monitor group e-mail Inbox and distribute messages and information to appropriate staffers as required, answer questions from, and provide support to internal customers and external clients, and resolve issues within the life cycle of the job from pickup to delivery. Focusing on all movements of inbound, outbound, and foreign freight movement. You will communicate information regarding the transportation and recovery of jobs to management as needed. You should be self-motivated, client focused, and work well in a team environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for quoting freight charges and utilizing preferred freight vendors. Reviewing freight variables such as class, weight, dimensional weights, and other special considerations
  • Provide inbound and outbound in-transit tracking for internal and external customers
  • Direct and coordinates the movement of all inbound, outbound, and foreign to foreign freight movement
  • Provide solutions to complex logistics transactions
  • Enter shipment information into the ERP system as required
  • File claims for damages/loss of material in transit against responsible freight vendor as requires
  • Provide outbound in transit tracking for internal and external customers
  • Approve orders submitted for Export Compliance
  • Be responsible for quoting freight charges utilizing preferred freight vendors. Must have comprehension of shipping modes (TL, LTL, and small parcel)
  • Assist carriers, other Arrow departments and distribution centers in resolving issues regarding loading, unloading, appointments and daily pick execution
  • Follow approved routing guide for carriers and processing centers
  • Communicate information with the carriers, including scheduling of jobs, obtaining shipping documents, tracking numbers and proof of deliveries, etc.
  • Process minor shipping requests including redirecting freight, changing freight terms, etc. as needed or requested by management
  • Research and Resolve issues: missed pickups, onsite issues, damaged inventory, etc.
  • Handle inquiries from processing centers, sales and client experience regarding transportation with proper urgency, professionalism and a high level of customer care
  • Other general duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • 2 - 4 years experience in similar role
  • Transportation industry knowledge with an emphasis on import and customs processes
  • Knowledge of US Export Regulations requirements and Classified products (HTN and ECCN if not provided) in accordance to US export regulations
  • Arancel experience a plus
  • English required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$17,658.33 - $22,000.00 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
