Technical advisor for Automation projects

At the Operational Center Europe with branch offices in Plzeň or Ostrava, we are looking for a candidate for the position “Technical Advisor.” In this role, you will be responsible for designing comprehensive solutions in the fields of automation, digitization, and Industry 4.0.

What awaits you:
 

• Design of technical solutions of automation control systems based on the customer specification respecting the ABB product portfolio and Business Unit and Sales organization directives
• Creation of technical specifications for internal and external inquiries
• Supporting the bid manager through the entire tendering phase
• Choice of the most efficient solution and its cost definition
• Communication with other technical teams, presentation of technical solutions to partners and customers
• Continuous self-development in technical areas – ABB product portfolio, applied technology, different industries
• Contribution to continuous improvement of tools and processes used in daily work

What we expect:

• Experience with execution or project lead of automation projects, orientation in technical sales processes
• Technical knowledge of Control Systems, preferably ABB product portfolio
• Professional English written and spoken (B2)
• High responsibility and accountability, precision in delivering on time and in requested quality
• Good communication skills, customer-oriented approach
• Desire to win/ highly organized.
• Ability to work independently, but with a strong team-oriented attitude
• Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive.
