We’re looking for a Copywriter 5-Month Fixed Term who can craft compelling, clear, and creative messaging across social, 1:1, retail, and beyond. You’ll bring ideas to life through word - whether it’s a new product launch, a tactical rollout, or a snappy social post.

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Copywriter who can craft compelling, clear, and creative messaging across social, 1:1, retail, and beyond. You’ll bring ideas to life through word - whether it’s a new product launch, a tactical rollout, or a snappy social post.

You’ll work closely with designers, producers, and campaign teams to make sure every piece of copy connects with our audience and stays true to Telstra’s tone of voice. Accessibility and compliance are key considerations in everything we do, and you’ll ensure your work meets these standards while still feeling human and engaging.

Responsibilities

  • Write engaging, on-brand copy for social, CRM, retail, digital, and product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and producers to craft integrated solutions.
  • Bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to every brief.
  • Ensure all copy meets accessibility and compliance standards.
  • Adapt tone and style for different channels and audiences.
  • Work fast without sacrificing craft.

About you

To be successful in the role, you must have:

Essential

  • Proven experience as a copywriter in a creative or agency environment.
  • Exceptional writing skills across short-form, long-form, and conceptual work.
  • A deep understanding of social, digital, and retail channels.
  • Ability to balance creativity with clarity, compliance, and accessibility.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for craft.
