Talent Acquisition Partner, People Organization – Talent Acquisition

The TA Partner delivers full-cycle recruiting for defined roles or segments, partnering with hiring managers to execute an effective attraction, selection, and offer process. This role balances technology-enabled efficiency with human-centric candidate moments and consistently communicates Assurant’s EVP as a brand ambassador. The TA Partner negotiates offers within established guidelines and uses market and funnel insights to adjust sourcing and screening strategies.

In addition to owning their requisitions, the TA Partner also supports the broader TA team by assisting with sourcing, pipeline building, and candidate engagement behind the scenes during peak hiring periods or shifts in business priorities, ensuring a seamless and consistent recruiting experience across all roles.

This role will be based in Hyderabad/Bangalore in India location.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Full-cycle recruiting delivery (30%)
    Manage job posting creation and updates, candidate attraction strategy, sourcing and screening as needed, interview coordination, candidate recommendations, and offer delivery for assigned roles/segments.

  • Hiring manager partnership & intake (20%)
    Conduct documented launch sessions to clarify success profile; share relevant market insights, define the requisition timeline, and outline key process steps. Provide interview guidance, sourcing and selection support, and maintain consistent, proactive communication with hiring managers and interview teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Funnel management & slate delivery (15%)
    Manage recruitment funnel to meet expectations for qualified candidate slates; monitor pipeline health and adjust outreach, screening, and scheduling to achieve targets.

  • Offer strategy & negotiation (15%)
    Negotiate offers within assigned segments and bands; guide hiring managers on compensation strategy, offer structure, and internal alignment; address candidate questions and objections; coordinate required approvals and deliver offers in a timely, human-centered manner.

  • Candidate experience & EVP storytelling (10%)
    Serve as an Assurant brand ambassador by clearly articulating the EVP and delivering a transparent, respectful and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

  • Tools, compliance & requisition hygiene (10%)
    Utilize approved tools/tech stack and follow playbooks; maintain accurate and compliant requisition and applicant data by updading candidate records, workflows, and requisition details in real time; proactively identify and escalate exceptions or process deviations to ensure consistency, data integrity, and audit readiness across the TA function.

  • Responsibility for managing project resources- May support project work (e.g., hiring events, process improvements) as assigned.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • MBA/PGDM degree required
  • 5-9 years of recruiting experience with full-cycle ownership supporting entry, mid-level and high-volume roles.
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills; with the ability to proactively guide hiring managers through screening, interviewing, selection decisions and evolving talent needs.
  • Proven ability to advise on compensation and offer strategy, negotiate within established guidelines and coordinate timely approvals while ensuring internal equity.
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate Assurant’s EVP, fostering a transparent, human-centric and engaging candidate experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Proficiency with recruiting technology (ATS/CRM) and a disciplined approach to data accuracy, timely and proper documentation, and compliance.

What are the Preferred requirements needed for this position?

  • Experience consulting with business leaders on talent strategies, market conditions, workforce planning insights, and competitive intelligence.
  • Demonstrated success influencing hiring decisions, including the ability to challenge assumptions, recommend alternative strategies, and proactively address risks.
  • Experience managing recruiting in a complex, matrixed environment, with comfort navigating evolving priorities, cross‑functional stakeholders, and shared service partners.
  • Proficiency with recruiting analytics, including interpreting funnel data, conversion metrics, and market insights to adjust strategies and advise hiring managers.
  • Familiarity with Workday, Beamery, Paradox or comparable ATS/CRM and automation tools.
  • Experience with talent CRM tools such as Beamery or strong candidate marketing/sourcing capabilities (pipelines, campaigns, outreach).
  • Knowledge of compensation structures, internal equity considerations, and best practices for offer development.
