We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Director, Vaccines. Trust and confidence are critical to the success of our vaccines business and the public and private health impact of our vaccines.
The position is based in Mexico City, Mexico and will require 20% of the time for local and regional travel.
This position international relocation support may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead collaboration across the organization to develop a unified and strategic marketing approach to accelerate vaccines in Mexico
- Build the strategy for the vaccines portfolio and pipeline. Lead the cross functional team (CFT). Translate the overarching marketing strategic vision into actionable plans with key deliverables. Coach and guide the team to identify the most effective market segments and establish a strong insights/data plan to promote vaccines with different customers / channels and implement tactical plans/projects. Partner across the Global-Regional-Local model to drive impact
- Oversee product promotion tactics, develop the scheme, forms, methods and technology of promotion (action plan, media plan), to implement the terms of the financial discipline in accordance with budget.
- In partnership with the BUD, prepare the long-range plan and budget for the vaccine portfolio. Plan the supply and demand for products within the area of responsibility, create cycle plans, implementation and forecast turnover (yearly marketing plan (L3 next), rapid response, etc. ).
- Assess, align, and streamline existing activities across the organization focused on expanding the private market by accelerating new customer adoption, new sources of business, consumer activation, and series completion
- Assemble and engage a cross-functional team to create an overarching marketing strategy for vaccines private market including clear objectives, metrics, and priorities. Ensure robust controls for all marketing activities including budget and process controls
- Lead, motivate and encourage people to deliver exceptional performance. Inspire other to build a high performing and collaborative organization.
- Building strong and effective commercial relationships with customers, suppliers, partners and other important external stakeholders, including government ministries and institutions.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will be experienced in a strategic focused leadership role. They will possess excellent influencing skills and a balance between strong strategic, marketing & commercial experience to be able to lead & problem-solve across a variety of marketing, strategy, access, business development, manufacturing, and supply chain related topics. A driven and energetic personality, the candidate will be a natural self-starter with a focused approach to problem solving and a willingness to take a hands-on approach to achieve their objectives.
- Deep understanding of the vaccines business opportunity and the needs of marketing/commercial organizations
- Proven strategic leader with the ability to operate at the highest levels of the business while also being hands-on and team oriented.
- Strong business acumen with credibility in internal stakeholder engagement and influence.
- History of entrepreneurial thinking and a creative approach to developing new ideas that challenge the organization and push industry boundaries.
- An analytical mindset and digital experience are preferred, as big data analytics and the use of digital platforms are crucial for impact.
- Demonstrated ability as a go-to leader and thought partner for peers within the business and senior executives, along with a reputation as a thought leader for external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Collaborative approach to influence, navigate, and work with regional, international and global teams towards a unified goal.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA preferred
Required Experience and Skills:
- Solid marketing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or English
- Proven experience in launching products
- Fully performing in team leader enterprise leadership skills for Entrepreneurship, Strategic Planning, Decision Making, Networking and Partnerships and Coaching and Development
- Strategic mindset with inclusive leadership capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead through influence.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Master’s degree
- Experience in the Mexican health environmental.
- Experience with vaccine private markets
- Solid experience in marketing
- Proficiency in digital tools and strategies.
