Are you passionate about shaping the future of technology and driving innovation? We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Product Management to lead our product portfolio and propel our company to new heights.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives. You will lead and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and customer-centricity.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's vision and market opportunities.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower a team of product managers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, incorporating their feedback into product decisions.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform product strategy, prioritization, and performance evaluation.
Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies.
Desired Skills:
Proven Leadership: Experience in agile product management preferably with launching a cloud product.
Management: Demonstrated experience leading and inspiring high-performing product teams and driving transformation within an organization..
Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute a clear and compelling product vision.
Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Customer-Centric: Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
Data-Driven: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Technical Acumen: Experience in the 9-1-1 industry, with understanding of technology trends and their potential impact on product development.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve complex problems with creative and innovative solutions.
Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA a plus.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
Strong understanding of product development methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
