Position Description:   If you are a Commerce student looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Brantford, Ontario location, you will provide support to the enterprise marketing team. Your duties and responsibilities will be completed under the general guidance of the Marketing & Communications Manager.

AS A MARKETING INTERN, YOU WILL:

•             Support marketing & product planning teams with research, presentations, and campaign launches

•             Participate regularly in brainstorming sessions for the development of marketing campaigns, and take detailed notes of meetings

•             Contribute to the preparation and release of promotional materials

•             Assist with event and trade show planning by providing all administrative support necessary, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, arranging reservations, and managing marketing materials; track engagement on all activities and assigning leads where necessary

•             Carry out administrative and data entry-related tasks, and maintain organized files for marketing team

•             Develop and maintain good relationships with agencies and suppliers

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

•             Completing a degree in marketing or a related field such as business, public relations or journalism

•             Passion for learning and growing in the marketing field

•             Good communication and interpersonal skills

•             Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

•             Excellent analytical skills

•             Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment

•             Strength/comfort with Microsoft Excel, Teams, SharePoint

•             Bilingual (French and English) skill set is an asset

Salary Transparency: Our target range for this role is $45,000 - $50,000 CAD annually.
