Sr. Treasury Analyst, Samsung Experience Stores

Role and Responsibilities

Our Samsung Electronics America Retail Operations Team is a growing a best-in-class organization within Samsung worldwide. We continue to challenge the existing retail models and processes to makes this team the home for talented, driven, and creative professionals, who want to be on the front lines of consumer electronics sales. Our team relishes the opportunity to push Samsung’s retail capabilities to be the new paradigm for consumer engagement.  With our partnerships with the top consumer electronics retailers and its own experiential sites, Retail Operations is delivering a consumer experience to maximize both sales and consumer satisfaction. 

Problems and issues faced may be vague, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind, treasury experience and excel skills

This dynamic position is for a Treasury expert to handle all Treasury functions within our Samsung Experience Store locations

Responsibilities

Customer Service Functions

• Cash Management: till management and all cash reconciliations
• Credit Card Management: manage vendor relationship, create merchant IDs, credit card reconciliations and management of chargebacks and credit card fraud
• Financing Management: manage financing vendor relationship, reconcile financing payments
• A/R reconciliations: reconcile the A/R with all payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Work with tax team to ensure all payments are fully accounted for
• Create and track partner remittances
• Enhance all processes in stores and ensure policies are followed
• Journal entry preparation and review

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments.  Good time management skillset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, display initiative and exercise good judgment
• Possess strong deductive reasoning, analytical dexterity, and problem solving skills
• Champions innovation and drives effective change
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Physical and Work Environment

• Work primarily in an office environment, with occasional travel to retail locations.
• Requires using standard office equipment and handling light physical demands (under 25 lbs).
