The Role

As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will be part of a 9-week Global Intern program with the Information Security team and support day-to-day security operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity, exposure to real-world security incidents, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements across key domains. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and gain insight into how a modern SOC operates.

How You'll Help Take Us There

Security Operations & Incident Support

• Assist in monitoring and triaging security alerts within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Help investigate phishing reports, access escalations, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Participate in incident response exercises and contribute to documentation.
• Support overnight/weekend on-call rotations (optional or shadowing basis).

Security Service Desk

• Help manage inbound security tickets and route them to appropriate teams.
• Maintain and update SOPs and documentation for operational workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve ticket handling and knowledgebase content.

Operational Efficiency & Program Support

• Assist with recurring security programs such as access reviews and control assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather evidence for audits.
• Help track and report on operational metrics and performance indicators.

What We’re Looking for  

• Working towards a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field graduating between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Familiarity with basic security concepts and tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in cloud security (AWS, Azure) and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $35.00 USD to $45.00 USD per hour. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
