Position Overview:

The Senior Manager of Customer Identity oversees the department responsible for strategic and tactical direction of Insulet’s Global Identity Management Program. He/She will own the process, execution and implementation of all CIAM projects and be responsible for driving the evolution of CIAM at Insulet. This role is responsible for building and continually evolving a strong team of analysts that drive the constant growth and improvement of our global CIAM model to keep ahead of new threats, push geographic expansion, product partnerships and Identity security. This department will focus on process, design, user experience and requirements related to CIAM. The technology stack will primarily be maintained by our Dev Ops department, but the CIAM team will partner closely with Devops to maintain and improve the platform.

Responsibilities:

· Operationalize Identity Management program and initiatives. Team is focused on the processes and customer experience-related designs of the platform. The team will partner with the DevOps team that is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Okta platform for developing the 360 degree view of everything occurring within the CIAM program at Insulet.

· Point person to partner with other team leads (Insulet and Vendor) where applications will rely upon Insulet’s Identity and Consent management platform or processes

· Grow a team of functional analysts specific to CIAM processes, evolution of the Identity environment. Okta platform development and monitoring will be performed by dev ops teams, in conjunction with the Identity/Experience team

· Outline, monitor and create mitigation plans for identity risks. Work closely with Insulet security and data privacy teams to ensure Identity is utilized in a secure and compliant manner globally

· Leverage analytics, user feedback, and general industry data to drive feature decisions and CIAM strategy

· Create strategic roadmaps for Identity initiatives, closely tied with the broader CET and IT Roadmaps

· This role is responsible for creating, maintaining and adhering to platform governance models

· Initially, the person in this role will be expected to provide some level of hands-on output in driving designs, functional specs and other project documentation

· Provide proper oversight and security measures to ensure PHI is kept confidential and protected

· Ensure projects are following IT PMO processes and solutions delivered align with the Insulet vision for engaging with our customers

· Partner with other department heads to provide strategic roadmaps and ensure teams are working towards an aligned vision of customer experience for all Omnipod customers and supporters

· Ensure that programs are clearly defined, strategically aligned, and justified with an effective business case/ROI

· As required, manage resources including objective setting, performance appraisal, salary administration, training, recruiting, and career path planning

· Advise on additional customer experience programs as necessary, such as global platform re-builds, market expansion and new product launch scenarios

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· At least 10 years of leadership experience working in a technology organization, ideally with at least 6 years working with CIAM.

· At least 4 years experience working with Okta on either Enterprise IAM or Customer IAM preferred

· Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management capabilities, processes and expectations, especially in a regulated industry such as Medical Device

Skills/Competencies:

· Experience with agile processes and the tool set required for process implementation, particularly the Atlassian suite with JIRA and Confluence.

· Management of inter-departmental business requirements and translating them to actionable development tasks.

· Strong leadership skills as it relates to organizing a team, aligning with other business leaders, preparedness and ability to lead by example for his/her team

· Excellent communication, writing, influencing and negotiating skills are critical

· Positive, results driven, rational, logical, team player

· Experience in the healthcare, pharma or medical device industry a plus

    Additional Information:

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,300.00 - $194,250.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
