What You Will Do:
The Staff Assistant is responsible for managing and coordinating the large volume of information (i.e., action memoranda, information memoranda, briefing memoranda, cables, policy papers, etc.) flowing in and out of a Federal Agency's Front Office and directly supporting bureau leadership by assembling products for the leadership review. The Staff Assistant is responsible for exercising quality control of incoming and outgoing documents and must be discreet in handling highly sensitive material, maintaining proper records and disposing of them, as required. The Staff Assistant is also responsible for trip planning and coordination for the Office leadership and schedules meetings and events.

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree

  • ONE (1) or more years of experience working in a federal agency


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience handling document control and/or developing briefing books and other materials

  • Experience planning travel and coordinating trips for senior officials

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
