Job Duties Outlined:
Conduct respiratory basic/translational research and lead a laboratory as Principal/Co-Investigator with acute lung injury focus.
Train and educate students, residents, fellows and faculty in a research setting.
Obtain extramural/internal grant funding to support laboratory/research team.
Mentoring and evaluating students, fellows, and faculty, as well as participating in weekly lectures and discussion groups.
Representation of the University at national and international conferences, through scholarly contributions, such as lectures and poster presentations, and presentation of research results throughs publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
