Job Description:

GDIT MAINES contract has a requirement for an experienced Middleware Administrator to join our ITS-EPA IV Managed Application, Infrastructure, Networking, Enterprise, and Security Services (MAINES) Contract in support of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Position Summary:

Provides expertise in the formulation of systems' scope and objectives. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats. Designs and develops computer system specifications that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's/customer's information systems architecture standards. Creates or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer systems and programs.

Task Responsibilities:

  • Support Atlassian environment including environment migrations, user analysis, Tier 3 technical support, creation of user accounts
  • Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, maintain, analyze, automate, secure and recommend web and application server software and solutions
  • Perform, coordinate and troubleshoot code deployments/outage response.
  • Develop and document internal procedures, configurations, end-user documentation, informational presentations and best practices

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 8+ years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be able to work remotely
  • Must be able to work independently

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
