The General Maintenance Repair team member performs a variety of facility and grounds maintenance activities to support the daily operations of the dealership. This role is responsible for completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, responding to facility-related requests, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for associates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of dealership facilities and grounds.

• Complete preventative maintenance and respond to facility work orders in a timely manner.

• Troubleshoot and repair minor issues involving building systems, equipment, and fixtures.

• Support facility projects, department moves, event setups, and other operational needs.

• Utilize work order management systems and technology to monitor assignments and track completion.

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and timely follow-up.

• Participate in after-hours and weekend support as required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field.

• Working knowledge of general maintenance practices, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and basic repairs.

• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and maintenance equipment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency with basic computer applications and mobile technology.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Experience with work order management systems preferred.

• Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.

• Ability to move throughout dealership and service facilities, work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions, operate tools and equipment, climb ladders, and lift, carry, push, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, safety procedures, and other job-related documentation; analyze and troubleshoot maintenance concerns; maintain attention to detail; prioritize competing tasks; and utilize dealership systems and technology, with or without reasonable accommodation.
