The Opportunity

Would you like to dive into the world of production IT and system integration? In this role, you’ll support our team in further developing and maintaining our integration landscape – with a focus on connecting production systems and applications. You’ll work closely with colleagues from production, IT, and data analysis.

How you'll make an impact

• Maintain and further develop the production control system (ECS ABB Ability MOM / SAP ME) and production-related reports in the corresponding reporting system using Power BI within the Scrum team

• Engage in continuous exchange with internal customers (e.g., EQ engineers, project managers, shift technicians) to integrate production requirements into the control system

• Train and support the 1st and 2nd level support teams for the MES

• Actively identify and sustainably resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and master data deviations through short- and medium-term measures within business processes, in close collaboration with the Scrum team and technical support units

• Identify, describe, and resolve interface issues between equipment, control systems, and the ERP

• Define, create, and improve reporting systems to visualize relevant KPIs for managing the digital factory

• Ensure 2nd level support for shifts and support unit employees

Your background

• Completed technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Automation, Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification

• Initial experience with system integration, data analysis, or production systems is a plus – but not a must!

• Interest in production processes and IT systems

• Willingness to learn, team spirit, and a structured way of working

• Good knowledge of German; English skills are an advantage
