Position Description

Coordinates and assists with the implementation and management of grants, programs and communications to support the Delta Dental Foundation’s mission and enhance its community impact

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Organizes and distributes grant funding requests for action by the Delta Dental Foundation staff and board of trustees, and processes requests once a funding decision has been made.

  •  Prepares and maintains accounting requests and documentation to ensure the financial integrity of the Delta Dental Foundation.

  • Crafts, compiles and distributes meeting agendas, supporting documents and minutes to foster collaboration and informed decision-making.

  • Updates department websites and records regularly to ensure accurate and current information is available to support stakeholder engagement and oversees the department email inbox.

  • Administers the distribution of Delta Dental Foundation in-kind resources and contributes to its outreach and educational efforts.

  • Assists with planning meetings and events to enhance the reputation of the Delta Dental Foundation.

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above

Minimum Requirements:

Position requires an associate’s degree in business, communications, public relations, social sciences or a related field and two years of administrative support experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Position requires knowledge Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational and administrative skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills; good writing and editing skills; ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects with tight deadlines; ability to work on teams as well as independently; and ability to effectively utilize applicable grantmaking and presentation software.
