The Omnichannel Services and Solutions (OSS) Regional Lead is responsible to lead and manage the APAC regional portfolio level team, consisting of internal and external resources that focus on design, development, delivery, and maintenance of Services & Solutions in support of Digital Engagement (Web, Social & Mobile) and associated services across all functions at Pfizer.
The Regional Lead is responsible for spearheading continuous innovation and improvements in services and capabilities, driving delivery at a regional scale. They will leverage global platforms, architectural patterns, and standardized delivery practices to consistently meet high standards for security, compliance, performance, and accessibility, enhancing our marketing efforts. Additionally, the Regional Lead will help bring us closer to our customers by gathering and leveraging insights using our Marketing Technology platforms.
The Regional Lead will engage and manage key stakeholder relationships related to service delivery across all areas of the Pfizer business, owning overall accountability for the regional team. The lead will work directly and through the team to understand client needs, define solutions, and collaborate with internal resources to develop high-quality, reusable solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership in Digital Delivery: Adapt and adjust the Global Strategy to meet regional needs and implement a comprehensive strategy for the delivery and execution at scale to create enabling engaging external digital experiences, ensuring alignment with the company's digital strategy, business, and marketing objectives.
Manage Development & Delivery at Scale: Lead and oversee a regional team dedicated to the development and delivery of external engagement services and solutions across Web, Mobile, Social channels and associated services. Partner with peer teams for innovation in creating engaging, multimedia experiences that leverage immersive and interactive technologies.
Service Delivery: Leverage the portfolio of available services and capabilities in the delivery of innovative and engaging external engagement space. This includes existing services, platforms and capabilities which are critical to the delivery of external engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with peer teams in OSS as well as the broader C4 teams (Patient, PDO & GDO), Digital Client Partners, CMO, business and marketing teams to effectively leverage technology platform investments, services & capabilities in the delivery of innovative digital engagement solutions that enhance customer engagement, brand visibility, and market positioning. Ensure collaboration between technical teams, creative staff, and business units for cohesive delivery of the solutions.
Quality and Compliance Management: Ensure solution use consistently adheres to security, regulatory standards, industry best practices and internal policies.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage the tools and available services for data analytics to assess the effectiveness of Digital engagements across channels as well as usage of our services, capabilities & platforms. Assist business teams make informed decisions to enhance effectiveness and impact of our services & capabilities.
Team Leadership and Talent Development: Build, lead, and mentor a diverse team, including delivery and technical specialists, content creators. Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with key stakeholders, advocating for the integration of the relevant and available services and capabilities to be part of the Digital engagement strategy. Communicate the value and impact of these services & capabilities effectively.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the budget and resources across both operations and projects, ensuring efficient use of funds and maximization of ROI.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD desirable.
Professional Experience:
15 years plus of proven progressive track record in a variety of technical leadership roles, ideally inclusive of web, mobile, content and AI technology solutions.
Awareness of Pharmaceutical industry a key advantage. Must have product, project and program management experience. Must have proven track record leading high performance teams. Uses knowledge of industry, related industries and general business environment to guide key decision making. Sees knowledge as a department asset and shares freely for the overall benefit of the team.
Technical Skills:
Ability to assimilate new technologies and concepts as needed.
MarTech skills are a must and experience both operating, overseeing and developing new MarTech solutions is an advantage.
Must be able to grasp the right level of technical skills required to make key tactical decisions for the group, if required.
Ability to learn new technical skills more important than the amount of current knowledge.
Leadership Abilities:
Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
Vision, integrity, resilience, adaptability, emotional intelligence, critical decision-making, and effective communications skills are key to the success of this role.
The ability to create a narrative/story to convey key messages and influence stakeholders at all levels is crucial for this role.
