How will you contribute to our magical experience?

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in a highly performant and geographically dispersed team. Our team is dedicated to building workflows, data integrations, and tools used organization-wide, ensuring reliability for our technology platform. In this role, you will ensure our workflows & products are highly performant, available, and facilitate operational efficiency. You will contribute to creating software that empowers operators to troubleshoot and resolve customer-impacting issues independently, as well as contribute to on-call support, internal testing, and development of workflows & integrations with our media supply chain services platform.

The main responsibility is to manage incident response and provide on-call support across all platforms that require it.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:

• Build and maintain API's and workflow orchestrations using Java, Spring Boot, and Python libraries to integrate with various media systems.
• Write clean code, document the business logic in code, write unit tests and integrate with continuous integration pipeline.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and platform services for running workflows in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional QA, product, backend, and frontend engineering teams to support the internal testing and development of workflows and integrations with our media supply chain services platforms.
• Implement monitoring alerts, logging, and application & platform metrics using observability platforms.
• Debug and fix issues in existing code, improve application performance, and availability.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to handle issues involving the workflow & platform issues.
• Demonstrate continuous learning by taking initiatives in learning new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques related software development.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

• 2+ years of experience in the software engineering field, with a focus on developing API’s and backend software artifacts which are highly available, fault tolerant, and distributed in nature.
• Advanced level of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, Go, Kafka, SQL, NOSQL, and AWS Cloud technologies.
• Strong working experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Container Orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of API and Event Driven Architectures.
• Experience operating distributed systems, especially in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of data specifications, XML, JSON, REST, and GraphQL
• Must be able to work with a geographically dispersed team.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
