We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Dietician.

  • In collaboration with other members of the health care team identifies patients at risk of nutritional deficit or excess assesses nutritional needs and defines nutrient requirements.
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of the nutrition care plan for patients with complicated nutritional problems
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and provides nutrition education related to medical nutrition therapy.
  • Counsels patients and family members on appropriate food selections, eating habits and behavior changes to accomplish optimum patient outcomes and defined goals.
  • Promotes continuity of care through effective discharge planning and care coordination.
  • Communication with other care providers and provision of nutrition care across the health care continuum.
  • Coordinates nutrition care activities on assigned units or clinics.

This position is PRN - on call as needed.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Licensed Dietician - Various, Registered Dietitian - Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Bachelor's Degree
