Why is this role important at Infobip?
Being a part of Infobip Engineering Powerhouse means working on an in-house developed product and delivering solutions on a global level. As a Software Engineer, you will be dedicated to your microservices and deal with the challenges of large architecture that is scalable and balanced, sends over 500 million messages daily, and helps our clients grow their business.
As part of the Infobip Portal, the team built logins, settings, and notification services. One use case includes different types of login solutions, integration with a captcha, and challenge-response tests to determine whether the user is human to deter bot attacks and spam.
What will you do at Infobip?
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot your team services on Infobip's Portal platform
- Write well-designed, testable, and scalable code using clean principles.
- Have a general overview and understanding of the interactions and dependencies in the entire system.
- Grow towards full-stack development. For us, this means working primarily on backend development but also expanding your knowledge of frontend development, system design, and alerting and monitoring tools.
- Work closely with Product Management within the agile framework (Scrum, LeSS) .
- Participate with your team in agile practices such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Expand and improve your knowledge and join the engineering community.
Qualifications
We seek a Backend Engineer with at least three years of commercial development experience and expertise in back-end development in .NET. Production experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React would be a significant advantage.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary, etc.
- Understanding databases and data management tools like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
- Experience with JavaScript (React, Angular, Node.js).
- Worked with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Ready to adopt, implement, or propose new technologies.
- Experience in Kotlin, Docker, and others.
