Supply Chain Intern

We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our Target Rock team in the Purchasing Department.  The Supply Chain Intern will work directly with the Buyers and functional departments.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY.

Hourly pay: $17 – $19.00 an hour

Your Challenge

  • Track open requisition to purchase order placement. Ensure Buyers have placed purchase orders within the allotted time.
  • Track open Supplier purchase order status to ensure supplier delivery commitments remain on time (meeting manufacturing needs as well as Kit To Lab dates).
  • Provide timely notification to PLT Planners regarding any supplier delivery slippage.
  • Collaborate with internal resources and suppliers to remedy supplier slippage and/or supplier requests/needs.
  • Maintain and track supplier NCRs and RTV for Supplier Returns. Expedite, as needed, internal stakeholders for supplier return product.
  • Ensure TR supplied material is sent out from the facility (on time) to support suppliers’ delivery date.
  • Enter and track vendor procedures to and from suppliers. Expedite both internal and external stakeholders as needed to resolve procedure submittal, review and approval.

What You Bring

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
