Universal Collision Centre in Regina is looking for a dedicated Body Shop Prep Technician to join our growing team!

You will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for repair and refinishing. Your attention to detail and expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch automotive repair services. If you are passionate about automobiles, have a keen eye for detail, and possess the skills necessary to prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing, we want to hear from you.

The Job:

  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as necessary

  • Sand, mask, and prepare surfaces for painting

  • Mix and apply primers, sealers, and topcoats

  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace

  • Collaborate with the painting team to achieve excellent finish quality

  • Always follow safety protocols and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Body Shop environment

  • Knowledge of vehicle construction, parts, and repair methods

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to use hand and power tools

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of painting and refinishing techniques

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to work in a team and independently

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
