As a member of the Global People Analytics (GPA) Team, the Senior Analyst position will manage and optimize backend databases that support the development of HR dashboards and reports shared with HR and Business users across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize tables/views within our different data warehouses (Oracle, SSMS, Snowflake, AWS S3)

  • Optimize SQL queries to improve readability and speed.

  • Catalog tables and fields to help with backend uniformity.

  • Support data integrations with the Enterprise Data Platform (AWS S3. Snowflake)

  • Create stored procedures and automated tasks to automate daily/weekly/monthly update processes.

  • Create new direct connections via SFTP to external data sources.

  • Continuously improve understanding of best practices for our data warehouses and potential solutions for future implementations.

  • Leverage existing tables to create alternate queries for ad hoc requests.

  • Communicate with relevant teams to remedy data integrity issues.

  • Support with development and refresh of Tableau / PowerBI dashboards

  • Support management of security / AD user groups for dashboard access

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics and visualization, statistics, analytics, or related discipline

  • 3+ years of working experience with HR / People data with an understanding of common workforce metrics and how and where to apply them

  • Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries

  • Experience with data warehouse solutions and database management systems

  • Preferred experience with MS Excel, Workday, Python, Power BI and DAX, Tableau and Tableau prep with experience of developing and publishing dashboards

  • Strong attention to detail
