We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits operations team at Mercer. This role could be based in Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, Los Angeles or New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Pharmacy Benefits Operations Manager will drive operational excellence across our pharmacy benefits practice. You'll manage process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee financial performance, and launch new service offerings. The Operations Manager will oversee financial evaluations, renewal strategies, business placements, benchmarking, and project tracking, while fostering strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal Mercer teams.
We will count on you to:
Lead continuous process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives, leveraging data to enhance efficiency.
Develop and execute operational strategies that align departmental goals with company objectives and ensure smooth daily execution.
Support business growth by enabling new service offerings across cross-functional teams
Ensure compliance with federal and state health and pharmacy regulations
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business needs
Lead change management initiatives to adapt operations to evolving business environments
What you need to have:
BA/BS degree
Excellent verbal and written skills for stakeholder engagement
Compliance and risk management background

Budget/financial management
Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS
