As part of the Shark Beauty Global Marketing team, this  role will play a critical role in building, managing, and tracking global demand generation plans. This will include partnering with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Social Media, Creative, Media, and the regional leads around the world to bring launch plans to life. You will help manage agencies on media planning, creative strategy/concepting, social content, video production, and PR pitching/events. You will lead in-market performance updates, and strategy/creative optimizations throughout the campaign lifecycle. The right individual will have a collaborative working style with an enthusiasm for making connections with cross-functional co-workers, strong organizational skills, and personal responsibility. As the beauty business grows around the world, this position will serve as a key guardian of brand messaging to ensure both global consistency and local relevancy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and track all Beauty demand plans with adherence to globally aligned messaging strategy
  • Align global demand plans and media mix to both the global strategy for launch and the local guidance
  • Oversee daily and weekly reporting of organic and paid media performance to optimize messaging, creative, and strategies to deliver on marketing goals
  • Work with cross functional global teams to bring new products and elevate hero sku’s in market, support localization of global plans, and ensure seamless execution
  • Immerse yourself in the consumer and competitive intelligence to communicate competitive advantage and what it takes to win in the market
  • Write agency briefs and help manage agency coordination, execution, and internal alignment/approvals
  • Brief content creation to internal and external partners, including influencer teams, video and social brand assets.
  • Manage junior team members, coaching and development

  • Biased toward action, roll up your sleeves and get it done together

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of prior marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for brand strategy, messaging, positioning, and comms strategy and advertising production/execution
  • Experience in managing, building, and growing teams
  • Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
  • Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products

Experience in launching products globally across several different markets

This IMC role can sit in our HQ in Needham, MA or our new office in NYC
