Job Description:

As a CloudOps Sr. Analyst – Cloud Engineering, you will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on identity management, networking, security, monitoring, backup, and automation. Working with onshore and offshore teams, you will ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

 

WHAT YOU’ WILL DO: this role your key responsibilities will be:

Configuration & Identity:

  • Deploy solutions in line with best practices and business requirements.
  • Manage identity services using Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and implement role-based access controls.

Networking:

  • Configure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and network ACLs.
  • Manage VPN Gateway, VPC peering, and implement Transit Gateway to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Leverage services such as Firewall Manager, Application Load Balancer for advanced network security and traffic management.

Security & Compliance:

  • Deploy security solutions such for continuous compliance monitoring.
  • Manage keys and secrets using Key Management Service (KMS) and enforce security policies 

Monitoring & Diagnostics:

  • Implement real-time performance tracking, logging, and troubleshooting.

Backup & Disaster Recovery:

  • Administer Backup and design disaster recovery strategies using multi-region architectures.

Automation & DevOps Practices:

  • Develop scripts using CLI and SDKs to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform, and build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leverage serverless automation through Lambda and orchestrate workflows.

Additional Skills:

  • Understand cost optimization strategies, high availability, scalability, and effective troubleshooting in complex environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve cloud operations and address intricate cloud challenges.

 

WHO YOU ARE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
  • Proven expertise in identity management (IAM, SSO, MFA, role-based policies) and networking components (VPCs, security groups, VPN, Direct Connect).
  • Solid background in implementing security solutions, monitoring systems, and backup strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in automation and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Language:  Spanish
