Global Operational Risk & Resilience Oversight (ORRO) is an independent second line risk function that provides challenge and oversight and guidance to a variety of stakeholders so that operational risks are appropriately managed and in alignment with risk appetite. Specifically, the ORRO department is responsible for providing independent oversight of policies, procedures and standards concerning the measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of risks.
Reporting to the AVP of Global ORRO Governance, Strategy and Risk Programs Oversight, this manager role will support the Governance & Reporting pillar and will provide oversight a challenge over the key metrics and trends to support operational risk posture.
The position requires a good foundation and understanding of OSFI E-21 Operational Risk & Resilience Management guideline, specifically around key risk indicators. The position also requires risks and controls knowledge and experience, and solid communication and influencing skills. This position will operate across multiple segment risk teams and their businesses, functions, and geographies, to promote and enhance awareness of risks and controls.

Position Responsibilities:
Support the Operational Risk and Resilience Oversight Committee (ORROC) reporting, its source data, presentation and messaging to key stakeholders.
Socialize the commentaries with stakeholders across Segments, gather feedback, and formulate executive level summary view for final reporting.
Perform data validation and ensure data integrity requirements are met for all ORRO reporting.
Perform data and trends analysis (i.e. deep dive into risks and controls data, issues data, KPIs and other metrics data, use insights from industry practices), use AI or analytical tool, and propose themes and actions.
Engage in training activities to support first- and second-line adoption of the methodology and program.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Operational Risk Management, specifically Reporting and Metrics detailed analysis, including governance and project management skillset
Experience with developing business case, project overview and dashboard, presentations (highly proficient with PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Ability to create effective presentations, with the ability to summarize complex issues into clear decision points and action plans
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate for shared success and to build relationships with key partners and stakeholders
Decision-Making: Ability to make informed, timely decisions to keep projects on track
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills for reporting, presentations, and facilitating meetings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
