Key Skills

  • C# Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of C# for developing robust, scalable backend services and APIs;
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Effectively works with cross-functional teams to communicate, analyze, and resolve complex issues, delivering impactful solutions aligned with business goals;
  • Modular System Design: Expertise in transforming systems into modular components, enhancing maintainability, scalability, and overall system flexibility;
  • Library Development: Proficient in building reusable libraries that standardize functionality and optimize development efficiency across teams;
  • Logging and Monitoring: Skilled in implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., ELK stack, Datadog) to ensure service reliability and visibility;
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Familiarity with event-driven patterns (e.g., Azure Service bus, Azure Event grid, Kafka) to build scalable and responsive backend systems.
  • Authentication and Authorization: In-depth experience simplifying and enhancing RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for secure and efficient access management;
  • Agile Methodologies: Experienced in working within agile environments, adapting quickly to changing requirements and sprint cycles;
  • Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience deploying and managing services in cloud environments (e.g., Google, Azure) for scalable and resilient solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in all software development stages, from conceptualization to deployment;
  • Conduct research, build proof-of-concepts, and participate in architecture/design discussions;
  • Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail;
  • Work with the Product Manager and the team in planning and elaborating technical stories for sprint releases;
  • Participate in troubleshooting production issues and work with the team to continuously evaluate and improve the quality, reliability and scalability of the platform;
  • Collaborate with your teammates to recommend technology decisions based on data;
  • Provide input to the team’s commitments around design, architecture and project estimation.

 

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $150,000 - $162,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
