The Opportunity:

This role sits at the center of the Emerging Markets office, serving as a force multiplier for enterprise growth and transformation priorities. It translates strategy into execution and supports high-quality decision-making through insights, analytics, financial management, and structured governance.

Partnering closely with senior leaders and business heads, the role drives alignment, execution discipline, and organizational effectiveness across a complex multi-market, multi-business portfolio. It offers a distinctive combination of strategy, business insight, financial oversight, and executive partnership in a high-visibility environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development & Enablement

  • Translate enterprise strategy into clear priorities, KPIs, milestones, and execution plans
  • Support senior leadership decisions by distilling complexity into clear insights, trade-offs, and actions
  • Drive alignment and accountability across leadership and business teams to execute strategic priorities through milestone tracking and follow-up and lead strategic interventions

2. Financial Management & Analytics

  • Provide forward-looking business insights and analytics, anticipate emerging business and financial risks to support disciplined growth, strengthen capabilities and other timely management actions
  • Lead enterprise planning with business and finance teams to align priorities, resources, and outcomes
  • Oversee budgets, cost allocations, and investment prioritization with strong financial discipline

3. Executive Governance & Leadership Office Management

  • Establish governance frameworks that reinforce execution discipline, transparency, and alignment on priorities
  • Monitor progress through governance forums, escalating issues and coordinating interventions where needed
  • Manage leadership office operations, governance cadence, executive communications, and leadership forums to enable effective decisions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 12–15+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development or financial services
  • Experience in financial management within insurance preferred
  • Proven track record in driving strategy execution, transformation, and enterprise results
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with ability to translate insights into actions
  • Experience operating across multiple markets, business units, or complex matrix environments preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage senior leadership.
