As a Business Application Specialist (BAS), you provide operational support and continuous improvement for the SAP CPQ platform. You collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into system configurations and enhancements, while supporting testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business needs.
This role works closely with business stakeholders, sales teams, IT, and cross‑functional partners to translate business needs into system configurations, enhancements, and documentation. The position applies analytical and problem‑solving skills to the design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of SAP CPQ to ensure business requirements are met and aligned with commercial strategies.
This position will work a hybrid schedule of in office 3x per week. This position will be based in our Charlotte, NC location.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day operational support for the SAP CPQ platform, serving as the primary point of contact for users
Configure and maintain SAP CPQ, including user access, roles, and system settings
Troubleshoot and resolve first‑level issues; escalate complex issues as needed
Support system updates and enhancements, including requirements gathering and configuration
Execute and support testing activities to ensure quality and business readiness
Create and maintain basic system documentation and user guidance
Support user training and adoption efforts
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with governance standards
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support continuous improvement of quoting processes
Additional Skills & Experience
Subject matter expertise in CPQ solutions (SAP CPQ preferred)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience working with Jira or similar work management tools
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; Scrum Master or Product Owner experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $103,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
