What We'll Bring:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with basic accounting knowledge and a keen interest in taxation. The ideal candidate will assist in daily accounting operations, tax filings, and compliance tasks while learning and growing in a dynamic finance environment. This role is ideal for entry-level professionals seeking to build a strong foundation in both general accounting and tax processes.

What You'll Bring:

• Maintain proper documentation for tax and audit requirements.
• Monitor compliance with local tax regulations and filing deadlines.
• Assist in preparing supporting documents for tax audits or assessments.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents when necessary.
• Assist in recording financial transactions in the accounting system, under the accounts payable module.
• Support in month-end and year-end tasks.
• Help in the computation, filing, and payment of taxes (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
• Reconcile accounts and assist in bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the finance manager.

Impact You'll Make:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field (CPA board passer is required).
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine tax regulations (e.g., BIR forms and deadlines).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Netsuite) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
